?What is the Kit value?
The Kit value is an industry standard measure (TAPPI T559) that quantifies a paper's resistance to grease and oil penetration. The scale ranges from 1 to 12, with 12 being the maximum resistance. Our solution achieves level 12.
?Is it truly recyclable?
Yes. Unlike plastic-laminated boards (PE), we use a water-based coating that easily separates from paper fibers during repulping, allowing it to be recycled in standard paper streams.
?Does it contain PFAS?
No. The MC525 coating is formulated free of PFAS (perfluoroalkyl substances), complying with the strictest environmental regulations and ensuring consumer safety.
